Jul 19, 2022 Yeah I saw another pic of this from that day and it said it was 2017, maybe the reason we didn't get an album until Revival was because he put on a bit of weight? Meaning when everyone here was calling Em fat during Revival period, that was actually him after losing most of the weight lol
Jul 19, 2022 Plus we can’t forget how quick Paul interrupted Sway when he asked Eminem if we were getting a new album soon… he’s the biggest hype killer
Jul 19, 2022 The pic I saw was just Em and the girl and it was a different angle and it said 2017. And he definitely wasn't dressing like that pre-Relapse
Jul 19, 2022 They still tryna promote Conway’s and Boogie’s new albums too but in reality a lot of people don’t give a f--- about those albums… I personally like Conway’s more but still
Jul 19, 2022 It looks more like the Shady XV time. I don't know. But he did look fat/chubby (more than usual anyway) from 2017 until 2020. Even at the Oscars.
Jul 19, 2022 He actually looked skinnier during Revival period than that pic you posted, if it is in fact 2017. So perhaps he didn't drop for four years if he took a break and didn't want to be in the public eye looking fat. Idk, he's lost the weight now though
Jul 19, 2022 Eminem hasn't cared for making money for some time (unless he is fake in such songs like Fine Line, why should I know). He has a manager so that he don't have to think about such things. He is not a businessman. We are not talking here about a new album but a thing to bust up streams and sell some CDs nobody needs but collectors. Nothing wrong with it but I doubt an artist cares about all of this. He is no unscrupulous Kanye pushing some stemplayer down his fans' throats or something.
Jul 19, 2022 I called this the other week in a previous post. Makes too much sense after the super bowl, rock n roll hall of fame, most accreditations and now another greatest hits. The timing is perfect. Also like you say, he’s turning 50 and I’m sure he wants to mark it with another major tour after nothing for years and a lot of songs released since then that he hasn’t performed live yet. Announcing the tickets the same week as the CC2 drop would give both a major push promo wise. I’m sure there was and is a new album he’s been working on but I can’t see that dropping until at least December/early next year.
Jul 19, 2022 I get what you mean but there's people who are seriously convinced that Paul is in charge of EVERYTHING, they think he puts tracklists together, decides what colour Kangol hat Em wears everyday, which cereal Em has for breakfast before putting on said Kangol hat, it's a pretty sad narrative.
Jul 19, 2022 MJ's biggest hit album had another CD with new material. But as far as I know It wasn't a surprise.
Jul 19, 2022 And It would be awesome. Not from commercial standpoint but a nice gift for the fans. (Or maybe commerial-wise too, as the hits would help the new songs. Hard to say.)
