Jun 3, 2022 My favourite thing about the project was how authentically introspective he was throughout the project. He amazingly drew parallels between where he is at right now and where he was during the MMLP era. Extending the Stan storyline to conclude it with a thorough dissection of his own hypocrisy and his inevitable and fast approaching fall from grace, referring back to his humorous slim shady bars from I'm back and Real Slim Shady to metaphorically highlight how his own past actions are catching up with him, blurring the lines between his Slim Shady and Marshall Mathers personas once and for all and making up to his mother and ex-wife while indicating growth in the process. Notwithstanding the execution and the fillers, the man put his soul into these concepts and it is quite evident. Moreover, he reached his technical and lyrical prime with this project and he made sure to rap his a--- off to hammer that point home well. It'll always be special for me despite all its flaws.
