May 12, 2022 I think people misconstrue not liking the sound of MMLP2 & attributing it towards Em’s performance. The writing was better, including the technical aspects you speak of, wordplay & metaphors, all much sharper. Delivery had energy, power & passion that was seriously lacking on a lot of B Side - MTBMB especially for an Em project, although his flows can be argued as better at various points. One thing he has improved on, along with flows, is matching his vocals to the production, to make a better sounding song, so hopefully he can marry the processes together of each era to make one fantastic album that’s even better than MTBMB. The ingredients are all there. MTBMB doesn’t get the respect it deserves for finally making Eminem music listenable outside of his core lol.
May 12, 2022 Agreed. Peak rapping and writing is on MMLP2, was on a whole another level back then. Constructing the album and having a million different sounds with a lot of terrible production was what ruined MMLP2. His biggest wasted potential in his career was that album, because of how good he was back then with his writing, flows, rhymes etc and how good the concept of revisiting the MMLP seemed to be. End result was a half arse attempt at that concept and most of the album was just random tracks with the same redundant formula of that albums need a bit of everything. MMLP2 could have been something incredible.

Cause I remember back in january when I signed up, there were 2 or 3 dumbasses, but now there's so many more. I honestly can't tell if they're failing at trolling or are just incredibly braindead
