Mar 22, 2022 I think he's doing it for alot of reasons I'm sure the money is definitely nice but I'm also sure he's very well off and could quit if he wanted to. He doesn't tour anymore so his album sales, streams and stuff are just a drop in the bucket to the money he already has. So I really doubt if he wasn't having fun he'd keep on doing what he's doing.

In case you don't get it, my point is, every rapper keep talkin' about the same s--- over and over again. I can't remember how many times Common talked about his love for hip hop as if he was talkin' about a girl when already did the best one in the beggining of his career. Lol. Huge Common fan here btw, it's cool. It's what everybody do and if people are still listenin' it's mostly because they find something interesting in the way they do it...

This is hypocrsy. How was it perfect or not a problem back when he was doing it on 2002 but it makes his music terrible now ? If they just say he always s----d, I'll be perfectly fine with it. But then, they couldn't justify why they are here at all, right ? Lol.

If you have as much money as Em does, you can basically invest and do nothing to make it worth a lot more. Obviously, he has a passion for music and rapping. Obviously, he cares about what the fans and even the critics think to some point, that's why he keeps talkin' about those things in his music. I don't get why would he release mixtapes, it's non sense when you can just release it officially. So no he doesn't do this just to make some fans he doesn't even know happy, he doesn't do it just for money because there are hundred better ways to make money for a guy who is as rich as he is. He does it mainly for himself...
Mar 22, 2022 And what type of side project can he do? Another Shady album but without 50 and Obie? some are already leaving the label. And the others probably want to. Collab project? With who? He only did it with Royce cause they both lived in Detroit. I don't see Em being in the studio with another artist for some time unless they travel to Detroit. I like Wayne, Nas, Jay, but a whole project by Em and one of them? That could be a mess. BME again? I don't know, social media made Royce so annoying. It could be good though. When it comes to soundtracks he just makes 1 or 2 songs for them and that's it, and they've been pretty forgettable lately.

Mar 22, 2022 Eminem stans who just live in his world, can only fathom him doing something related to Shady or BME. Same type of people who say, bring back old slim shady or why doesn’t he sound like he did 20 years ago. So many possibilities, concepts he could do away from his albums and work with artists that you would never think of or someone that he has good chemistry with like Cudi. He just doesn’t do it, as he is a play it safe artist now. He does what works best for him, he is so much more capable than that. If he made a experimental EP for an example, put it out there. It would make him broaden his horizons more, find a new avenue in his music and have the balls to try something different when it comes to making an album. He is fearful of a bad reaction to his material and Relapse was the last time he did something that was out there, different and reaction to that has stopped him doing something like that again. Side projects would help with that.
