Aug 3, 2021 why the h--- would he be on personal songs like that . You are the most annoying f---ing troll I’ve ever seen
Aug 3, 2021 I feel sorry for you if that’s how you genuinely feel. In the past decade he’s dropped a lot of music on par with his prime stuff. If you’ve been disappointed for the past decade there’s no hope for you now lol
Aug 3, 2021 Completely valid point to which more would agree than your original statement. His post-hiatus highs have been as high as some of his prime years, but his lows have (obviously) been lower & more frequent & he lacks consistency/cohesion compared to back then. It’s really not a wild take lol
Aug 3, 2021 On Par definition: "The same level or standard as (someone or something else) As good as, equal to" I challenge you to name me 5 songs from the past decade that are on the same level as these songs. With a straight face and without trolling. - Sing For The Moment - 8 Mile Road - Lose Yourself - Till I Collapse - Rock Bottom
Aug 3, 2021 The post where he finally acknowledges his faith and becomes one with the durag almost like neo in the matrix history in the making right here
Aug 3, 2021 Side note: This is about to be a crazy week for drops “Suicide Squad” (Twitter critics gassed this up but, we’ll see) “Donda” (Lol. Again, we’ll see) Nas album / Em and Nas Collab CM Punk returns (For wrestling fans) Etc...
Aug 3, 2021 Gotta love how all it took was him getting his a--- beat twice in the ufc and become a laughing stock to back track and be like "nah actually ima wrestler"
Aug 3, 2021 Yeah thanks for that I don’t think anyone knows what on par means lol You’ve picked arguably his top 5 songs of all time & use those as a comparison? I said some of the past-decade highs are on par with some of his prime stuff — that doesn’t mean everything has to be compared to his literal greatest songs of all time. No wonder you’re constantly disappointed if you’re comparing everything to some of the greatest raps ever written. Personally, my top 5 would all be from early 2000s, but that doesn’t negate my original statement lol.
Aug 3, 2021 I understand this post but still. For me, only talking for me, Em has nothing to prove to me. Especially with those songs existing. He accomplished early what others try to gain (Classic songs, Classic albums, Classic videos, Classic movie soundtrack, Classic collaborations, etc) We as fans got spoiled early I guess. I understand this is just how Rap is but, d---. What is it going to take for Em to be certified? What is left to still prove? Isn’t that part of the point on that “Walk on Water” song?
Aug 3, 2021 Well of course if you compare to some of the weaker material from his prime it changes everything. Not everything he did in his prime was great. I'm also not comparing what he's been dropping to his best material either. I try to listen to it with an open mind the best I can but can't force myself to like something either. Contrary to popular opinion here, I thought Recovery was great.
