Jan 15, 2022 Or he should make quality music that means something or is different and not do topic/concept he has done a million times. If he has to filler albums then he should shorten it. There is very good album in MMLP2 if you shortened it only and even more so on MTBMB, a near classic even.

Jan 15, 2022 ... and what a beautiful career he will have had .... 3 cult classic albums off the bat ... then some pretty decent party b-----r albums; encore and the d-12 albums (you can't have a party without playing ''shake that'') the weird experimental albums (relapse) then a few mainstream albums like recovery and mmlp2 .. Followed by an honest try and being vulnerable (in the right state of mind, revival has a few strong songs), kamikaze was a nice return to aggressive Eminem form (plus we got so great features in that time period (chlorasceptic remix, homicide, rainy days etc..) and then a true return to the sim shady persona in MTBMB A+B .. Not perfect albums .. But d--- near close to recapturing the magic of the OG3 .. all taking into consideration that Marshall almost died in 2007, and we would never have experienced all this if that happened... so I,M greatfull and will accept his retirement once he decides to leave... TBH ever since mmlp2 i've expected every following album to be his last.
Jan 15, 2022 You made me realize how I take all that s--- for granted sometimes, excluding revival which I understand was an honest try to make more "mature" album, but the whole thing just wasn't for me, excluding maybe 4 songs tops
Jan 15, 2022 Bit jarring on MMLP though, as I listen to that album when I’m older. Like the song on its own but sticks out like a sore thumb on that album as it’s so different and menacing to what the rest of the album sounded like.. Maybe just didn’t place it right on the album. Same for the replacement track on The Kids. Felt like it was made before the album came to fruition which I think I remember reading, was actually what happened. My only gripe with that album anways. Again, concept of it being a prequel to Just The Two Of Us and tiring that in together was genius.
Jan 15, 2022 Ironically Revival is as immature as Encore though. The theme and some of the topics on his songs paint a picture that Revival was this mature, new approach from Em but was it really? Sounds like a complete mess of all sorts of styles to me. Remind me, Offended, Heat and Framed. Some of them make Big Weenie sound topical.

Jan 15, 2022 yo in retrospect in like 2050 we will revisit every album and go like ''oh d--- he still was spitting like this at 49'' like it's not a perfect career and no one has a perfect career, but you have to see the beauty and the honesty in Eminem's music... there are band out there that have been doing the same shtick for 20+ years and as much as doing the same is comforting .. It doesn't offer a lot of variety ... some days i'm pissed of at the word and will pop in sslp and kamikaze and the next day listen to (some) of revival and(most) of recovery and feel emotional ... his discography will age so well ... I can guarantee it !
