Jul 5, 2021 Eh not really. We get pop albums all the time, yet Weeknd, Ariana, Bruno, Justin and Dua's songs stayed in rotation even during a pandemic and in multiple continents. Why, because they are addictitive and catchy. They all have songs in the top 10 and their albums dropped long ago. Olivia Rodrigo also has multiple hits on her album that will stay around. And then look at Em, 2 albums, and the closer thing to sticking around was the catchy song with Juice thanks to that great hook. It wasn't enough tho, both albums came and went really fast except for us die hard stans.
Jul 5, 2021 That grimy stuff was nearly dead until Griselda ressurected and made it cool again during those last 2 years. Atleast that's how I feel. And some people still like that type of hip-hop.
