Discombobulated, the version of Elevator we got on Refill, Music Box, and Deja Vu are all from the Relapse/Relapse 2 sessions, which were after his overdose. Nobody else in the world thinks any of those songs, at least as released, are from 2005. My Darling is the only one that might be pre-Relapse -- I mentioned that one without thinking because I've gotten used to hearing it on my version of Relapse -- but the point still stands, especially if it's from the drugged up era. To spell it out, this would seem to go against your theory that he "lost his knack for natural musicality when he relearned how to rap" (your words) since My Darling, where he's flowing and singing just fine, was recorded at a time when he'd supposedly forgotten how to make good music. CWYWF is another good example, even if I personally don't care for that song. He didn't start really losing his ear for music until the HTS/MMLP2 era, long after the hiatus. The only song I mentioned that's on your fake tracklist is My Darling. Just stop. You're embarrassing yourself.

Dec 14, 2024 Stillmatic was also great and that was 10 years in Nas career. 10 years in Em’s career he released relapse. They are pretty equal… I mean writing wise Relapse is obviously better but rapping I say One mic is as good as the best song on relapse. Relapse is heavily overrated. It’s still like #6 in his discography but the accents were overboard and too gimmicky trying to be like the SSLP. SSLP was better cuz the humor and battle rap type style worked better. Rapping about h----------s and Vicodin was cool for like 3 songs… but a whole album of that. Nah, Death of slim shady did the concept better and had better songs
