Those Kanye and Nas collabs would have been way better back then, and way less forgettable. It used to be exciting back then, now it's like "another collab?, hope he won't f--- it up"

And you really didn't understand that I laughed at the fact that you said Recovery was his peak because he had better singles and collabs then... What about the fact that the album was trash for his standards? Peak? Only in popularity (maybe). The era was kind of fun but It wasn't his peak in terms of music. No way.
Nov 11, 2021 I don't think the album was trash at all, it was more pop rap than rap, but it was dope imo, and the response to the album was pretty good, it was his peak in popularity and sales after the break he took. All the singles did their thing too. I love Relapse, but Recovery was another side of Em more personal and mature except for some moments. So many forgettable and hard to enjoy collabs since Recovery. It's sad but it is what it is. Hope he will record with Nas and Kendrick again to fix it.
