It’s not crazy” One of the reasons why I like this album is, idk if I’m reading too much into it, but, I don’t think people realize what he’s doing. It’s a Win either way If the lyrics do shock people he wins, if they don’t, he still wins too. By people being mad at Em for saying “I’m going to get cancelled” or him talking about Pronouns, trans, disabled, etc, it’s him proving that in 2024 Shady doesn’t work the same way because times are different. All these people responding don’t realize he’s aware of what he’s doing. He knows how insane he sounds on the record and how this won’t “really” work. He even talked about this on “Rap God” about the columbine line not being censored out. We weren’t supposed to cheer for Walter White or Tyler Durden yet we still did. In a way, he’s even mocking fans thar are cheering him on in this album. Again, I could be reading too much into it but that’s how I see it. It’s almost critic proof in a way because you prove his point anytime you complain. He knows how absurd the lyrics are. Cmon. The opening lyrics of “Trouble” should tell you that. Lol. The Slim Shady character doesn’t work in 2024 and that’s the point.

Jul 14, 2024 The album does have choppy flow or whatever it was. I agree it's not great, but it's a grower, so we will see. No huge hit? dude went number 2 by himself. It didn't have much staying power but still great. Could have went number 1 by himself.

But this time he was killed for good. Only way we can ever see him again would be on Em's final album as Em's final adversary or an unlikely ally in a scene like some Avengers: Endgame portal s---.
