    Yeah this is ridiculous to me.

    I think people take for granted / forget just how good SSLP in particular is. MMLP more I would say listen to, more often, or it's more recent in memory because of how big it was & TES... and lately there's a popular thing of placing like SSLP 5th or lower in his catalogue...

    Anybody who thinks that or thinks 'ah SSLP not that good'... If you haven't listened to that album for quite a while - I'd urge you to go re-listen to it, then say Recovery is better than SSLP lol. That album is amazing. I listened the other week and was reminded just how good it is.

    "Offended" has some really cool instruments and sounds being added throughout the 3rd verse but the mixing of the instruments is so low it's barely recognizable

    Would like to hear a well mixed version of this album

    Yeah, also, that's a fkn cop-out. So what if people did? If the music is amazing then people can't help but rate it.

    I hate that Em said that as if the reason for the hate is a presumption. If it's good it's good. It's not.

    You're right because I forgot MMLP2 is better than the original as well. SSLP might have some decent flows but it is childish, weak production, and not focused. Kind of a mess of an album if you unclog the nostalgia from your ears.

    Okay now I'm convinced you're a troll.

    MMLP2 is a mixtape bruh. MMLP original is a masterpiece.

    MMLP2 has no concept, it's just him trying to recapture that era in some way, desperately, with call backs, references and just the very use of the title and trying to inspire himself... it has no character, you have everything from modern day shouty obvious-as-f--- Eminem to super slick trap crazy spitting Em, to rap rock stadium Em... it's nothing. The tracks are great but as an album it's nothing.

    MMLP is a f---ing bullet. It rocks its concept from the first to the last second and he only breaks character within a concept @ Stan on the final verse, to cleverly confuse idiotic critics further; then musically? Production, the flows, the song concepts >>>. It's amazing.

    Definitely wouldn't call SSLP a mess either. There's a style and a sound which plays throughout. Very consistent, great mix of storytelling, concepts, personal raps, all in style, in character... Very dope album. Easily s----s on any comeback album.
