    No one was checking for Bone? Are you f---ing kidding? E. 1999 was the 54th best selling album released in the ‘90s across all genres. Crossroads was a smash #1 hit. It went six times platinum just in the U.S. and diamond worldwide. Me Against the World still to this day has only sold half as much and had only gone double when Bone’s album had hit 5M.

    T.I. barely outsold Wayne, so I’ll give you that, but it felt like Wayne had a bigger impact over the 12 months overall.

    Wayne was basically washed by ‘09. He never released anything good again after No Ceilings that year. Jay-Z was the most successful rapper that year quite easily. It’s really not debatable. Same goes for Eminem in 2010. He had the biggest album of the year, and made quite a few major guest appearances on other albums that year too. He was the biggest star in rap. Go back and read the OP’s criteria. Wayne didn’t have Jay or Em beat those years.

    Anyone else think ems EMA performance was his best live performance in years? His movements, voice, presence. Was all 10/10. I thought the snl performance was pretty good as well
