    I think rapmusik was getting at that they're sticking to a surprise/sudden release, which is why a date has not been revealed.

    Shady Records should just hit us all with another single tonight or tomorrow since he's doing SNL this weekend and his album is allegedly coming Friday.

    He got everyone buzzing with Walk on Water. Now hit everyone again with another single and keep that buzz going through the weekend until the album is out and he does SNL. Then he can go back into hiding.

    Em wanted to release this statement kinda track to set to tone like someone already said. but they needed it to be successful as much as possible so they had Beyonce on it. He definitely have more single worhty material but for some reason he wanted to release this. I don't think someone like Eminem and the labels he works wiith are types that can actually believe this song could be soo huge at all. But this song needed to be heard ffirstly so they released it first and tried to made it commercial as possible by putting Beyonce on hook.That's just a theory but u know it's true if Walk on Water is intro to the album.

    Exactly, you're fully right. I think Em wanted to say these things, not giving a fck about sales. But of course this is just an intro-single, something like that, he knows how hit the charts and he will.

    did nobody listen to the Broken Record interview? em heard the track with Skylar on it and was into it, wrote all his s---. then he took it to Jay Z and let him listen to it because they’re friends and because Jay Z is probably the only other rapper in the game who can relate to the struggles em is rapping about on this song. Jay was into it and he was the one who asked Bey to come into the room and sing the hook. had nothing to do with the label

    I didn't remember Em said he took it to the Jay-Z. As I understand, Rick Rubin first take the beat and Skylar hook to Beyonce and Jay but then somehow it ended up with Eminem or smh as I remember. Will check it out tho.
