    I mean, they did the same with Love Story, dropped 2 singles , waited something like 6 months, dropped Shady XV and then Love Story. They could do the same with this release, but instead of a label album they'll drop Em' s solo

    Shady Records act like they don't want Yela to sell. I can understand that they can't make him sell good with the promos they make (they don't do much anyway) but why make the guy release singles each 6 months ? Why can't they just let him release few singles back to back in few months and then release the album. It'd have been a lot better.

    I know we give Shady Records a lot of s--- but how do we know it's them specifically pushing Yela's album back? Unless Yela himself says "Shady pushed it back" we don't really know for sure. also daylight and shadows are a month apart lol

    What makes me think it's Shady Records is the fact that Yela doesn't know. He's previously said that the album is done, and in mastering, so if it is now " hopefully" coming out early next year then that sounds like something out of his control. And I'm willing it is to make room for a surprise release by Em.

    might not be shady specifically though. I remember 50 cent used to talk about Interscope pushing his release back for Eminem. I'm just wondering how much blame should really go to shady records.

    Oh ok, I thought you were questioning IF he was pushed back. But yeah, probably Interscope. Em probably has some sort of 3 year deal with them..

    I'd put money on it. Drake's mixtape will stream/sell higher. He's (Drake) in his prime bruh and em is 44.

    Ιnterscope is the publisher not shady..they decide who is dropping an album and when.. so this makes it clear that interscope wants Em first thats why yela got pushed back..

    same problem that got 50, obie and maybe like a dozen aftermath artists to leave

    just please for the love of f---, Em, please go back to normal flows. we know you're the rap god, you don't need to show us your technical skills anymore. lately he's been technicals first, flow second, lyrics last. like he'll write what he needs in order to fill in as many internal rhymes as possible without caring too much about what he's actually spitting. like that shadyxv style and s---. he has GOT to go back to focused songwriting and real concepts and emotion. GOOD SMOOTH AND NOT OVER-DONE FLOWS. :sweatt:

    that is WHY 50 left. jimmy wouldn't put his album out lol so Dre and Em helped 50 leave the label.

    I think we put a bit more hate on Shady than we should.

    Yeah, we get it, drake might be in his prime and all that. But a drake mixtape ( is it even a mixtape? Thought it was a playlist or some s---) outselling an Eminem solo album is laughable. Views was so so overhyped, probably most overhyped album of the d--- decade tbh. I'm willing to bet that's the reason it was so successful. Not to mention the actual thing was mediocre at best.

    It's all subjective man and a lot of people do like him (mostly hypebeast teens lol) but yeah I'm not a big fan of him, some of his s--- catchy and 40's production is nice but that's about it lol. I doubt a mixtape of his would ever outsell and Eminem album.

    I love in Australia and campaign speech got absolutely 0 attention here. Just face it, your favourite artist is no longer the most popular rapper in the world. Like why get salty that Drake is more liked than Eminem? Grow up
