Sep 30, 2021 I'm far from a hater. lol Em is a goat, but this is the worst guest verse of his ever in my opinion. Don't remember all of the Revival verses but this is surely just as bad as the worst ones on it. None of the s--- Em spit had any actual content, and he finished the verse saying he is better than everybody in the game right now because "he is the 2003 Eminem what he no longer is?" That line is senseless and cringe as h---, just as many other ones there. I prefer honestly corny Em over cringe Em.
Sep 30, 2021 Melancholy trash Venom was better Way better. I reflexively went back and listened to it after this
Sep 30, 2021 Em listened too much to his album MTBMB so that's why he was rapping lifeless here. LMAO
Sep 30, 2021 I like Ems verse. Flow was nice. Yes, hes basically rapped that type of verse to death though. But no complaints here. Everybody did decent on this song imo.
Sep 30, 2021 Lol it seems like everyone hates it because it's like a leftover of a leftover of a MTBMB verse, which it is, but y'all were the same ones crying about Eminem needing to rap in a relaxed voice, how he can't flow on a beat, always does choppy flow fart jokes stuff before Revival so I guess this is what you get
Oct 1, 2021 I can’t stop listening to Em’s verse on loop! Man I love it!!!! I think this was a wasted opportunity to get others on it instead of Polo and Mozzy wtf
Oct 3, 2021 Wasn't bad at all. Content is just boring asf. He couldn't have said this s--- less than a billion times.
Oct 4, 2021 It's definitely not just the content, the whole g.d. vibe from the first half of the track dies off instantly on Em's part. I don't have anything against chill Em raps while even enjoy myself some such MTBMB tracks, but for this particular collab he should had came up with some motivational verse what he could deliver with some flows having more matching energy to Polo G and Mozzy including some hot instrumental part like the other two verses had, especially since he must already heard their verses at least a week or two prior to the coming out of the track. About the chill verse he used here, he should had just saved it for some entirely another track where it would had actually sat well with the constisting vibe, instead of kinda ruining this track with his sudden total crash of previous intensity to blandness, which I would say is hypothetically something like mixing metal with classical music what even though both are separately cool genres they still just obviously cannot go well with one another because of the completely different vibes they carry themselves. Yeah I definitely went too deep about something very insignificant but I don't understand how nobody else notices that the way Em came up on this track f---ing sucks donkey balls. LOL
Oct 6, 2021 I think he's just trying to sound different though. We expect high-energy from him, so he's trying to be different.
Oct 7, 2021 As I already said in some other words on my quoted post, I'm not against him sounding different but he should had better saved that kind of approach for another track where it would had actually fitted the vibe of it, while that sleepy vibe what that chosen verse of his is carrying there is just straight boner killer for me. What he should have done instead on the track, is coming up with any other verse what he would felt passionate about enough to spit it somewhat like Polo G and Mozzy did theirs or even at least just freestyle something a bit decent if he maybe didn't felt inspired at the time to write something extremely good. The worst part is that I believe he prolly could had easily came up with an averagely good verse what would had actually sounded very nice on the track, but the man has some serious problem with letting anybody outrap him on any track, like he thinks that would instantly cause an end of his career if somebody even just once had a bit better verse somewhere than him, so when he doesn't feel like he can come up with better s--- than the other rapper/s he just go then in whole another direction for it to look like he wasn't really trying to compete with them. Best example of that is him staying away almost always from Kendrick when it comes to doing tracks, while they could had surely done tons of bangers if Em just wasn't being so afraid of getting a bit outshined. Whatsoever, this collab here feels to me like some hot chocolate being poured over some grilled meat, which just shouldn't really be mixed as far I'm concerned. LMAO
Oct 7, 2021 Kinda worked for me. I think the sleepy vibe fit the minimal piano vibe of the track. The pace of the beat on his part was quite slow, don't see how an intense vibe would fit that better. Plus I'm kinda of sick of him just spazzing lately. Remember like... 'White America'. Think how slow that s--- is, I know it's not sleepy but, I mean, that seems to be his problem lately, he only ever changes up the tone as in... he'll be sleepy or intense. But he's always fast or tricky at least. Wheras, 'White America'... think of that... he wasn't sleepy but also not a fast spaz, ''I NEEEEVVERR WOULDDA DREAAAMMEDD INNN A MILLIOONN YEARSSSS I'D SEEE'. It would be most surprising for him to come up with some slower, intense flows like that now. Rather than constant word spazzing.
Oct 7, 2021 The pace of the beat on his part was quite slow surely just because he wanted it to be slow, since the track wouldn't had been uploaded on his channel first if he didn't had executing control over it. Whatsoever, my issue with Em's verse isn't about the speed he was rapping it nor even the speed of the beat he was doing it on, but as I already explained multiple times above it's all about the wrong choice of vibe on his part of the track, what it appeared to sound as being heavily lacked by being kinda faded one in comparison to the fire ones of Polo G including even Mozzy. If you maybe can't see what exactly I'm pointing at, then just go re/listen Em's feature on the 2009 track Forever and imagine if Em's part started there like he's starting here, while afterwards come back and tell me if you think he would had been praised as much he had been for his feature there if that feature was of the same poor quality as of this wack right here. P.S. Another thing about it what was bothering me but I somehow missed to bring up before, is that even content wise Em's verse is still horrible choice for this particular track. Here is Polo G rapping selflessly 80% with s--- what everybody can relate about even though he could had taken an advantage of this collab as a big opportunity to introduce himself more personally to a new audience, then there it is Mozzy rapping 60% with s--- everybody can relate almost just like Polo G, and then comes up arrogant Em barely rapping any relatable s--- with making the whole guest verse all about his g.d. self. Yeah indeed, that's some really great thinking right here. He used to rap amazingly like that on bigger part of D12's Devil's Night album too. I would absolutely love that chilling godlike flow of his to be brought back again by him. Doing such simple spitting yet sounding so much powerful is what probably the most made him being so respected as much he was in his prime days.
