Dec 16, 2020 I've always said: Give Eminem the right beat and he'll make a great song. That's why most of his songs produced by Dre are great. Because he'll never say 'no' to Dre. A Dre's beats are FIRE, most often than not. But Em is his own worst enemy. He picks horrible beats. I think like no other rapper out there. He's the worst beat picker I've ever heard. Which is extremely strange, since his own productions are great.
Dec 16, 2020 The "Hit Em Up" part of "Quitter" is my personal favorite. If I remember correctly, it leaked about this time in 2000. I went crazy first time I heard it. His beat selection has improved a lot, in my opinion. Also it could be argued that Nas is one of the worst beat selectors in hip-hop, although he improved somewhat too with "Kings Disease"
Dec 16, 2020 FFS... Just look at the top part of that, can't you see it's the same picture used for the actual real front cover? They just cut it. When have you ever seen the same picture used in the front and back of an album cover?. The spacing and layout of the text looks like a mess, hard to read.
