Dec 15, 2020 He said in the last 15 years implying it once was, it has been on a steady incline this millennium.
Dec 15, 2020 Yup. Compton is an album for the producers, hard to say that without sounding like a pretentious twat but it is what it is.
Dec 15, 2020 Lol Wikipedia is bs. Anyone can post whatever on that site. Give me some peer reviewed or researched statistics to back this up and I’ll believe you. No way rap is bigger than EDM or country.
Dec 15, 2020 That's what I'm trying to say. I shouldn't need to go and look for it. It used to be the radio was filled with hip hop songs and likewise rock bands and pop singers, there was a big diversity. For many years now it's dance music and pop music and a bit of techno and there's not been any real change. I seen Ashanti on Twitter trending because she has COVID, my God. Ashanti! There's tons of artists who were all over radio and TV and she was one of them. Kanye West used to be all over radio and TV. Taio Cruz. Akon. Timbaland.People you just don't hear from anymore. I couldn't believe when Fat Joe had a song with Eminem not that long ago. Who had heard from Fat Joe in about 10 years? Sean Paul is another one. Where did they all go lol. Did they make their millions and all retired in 2010 lol.
Dec 15, 2020 you're saying I am irrelevant? I'm done with you, maybe your track can save you but until then I'm done with you
Dec 15, 2020 I know that Cole had a few sessions with Dre in ‘18 so I wouldn’t be surprised at all! I’m hoping some techniques he learned from them sessions are the reason why he‘s delayed The Fall Off, transferring some of the knowledge, one hopes at least.
Dec 15, 2020 Who the f--- even listens to FM radio? It's all about streaming services, Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube etc.. Get with the times.
Dec 15, 2020 Ima admit I went back and gave Shady XV a listen and the Only songs I ever could stomach is Fine line and guts over fear.
Dec 15, 2020 That's what I should do. I should look at what the Top 40 songs on the UK Spotify chart are and I bet you it's not far off what's on the radio. Ed Sheeran, Little Mix, Taylor Swift, Jax Jones, Dua Lipa, The Weeknd.
Dec 15, 2020 d--- I was a HUGE fan of this album. Lots of great underrated tracks imo. Even the D12 song was dope. I think it was called Bane? I loved that porter beat.
