    It's just a little effed up that i stay awake during the day and visit the forum regularly only to find 1 or 2 pages added.

    This announcement refers to the App Store, but it also applies to iTunes/Apple Music Connect, Apple TV, etc. Nothing unusual, this has been in effect since the beginning of the iTunes Music Store (as well as the App Store).

    Basically, noone can release anything via an Apple platform (e.g., new/updated apps, new music, TV shows, etc.) during this window because Apple gives reviewers and Q/A staff this time off.
