Oct 23, 2020 I wish Em would drop mixtapes in between albums. Why does everything have to be "official". A Mixtape would give him the PERFECT outlet in this case. He could get political. Make a stand. Try to sway the election in one way. Whilst not compromising his legacy in terms of discography or sales.
Oct 23, 2020 That White America remained relevant because of its political statement & Darkness is irrelevant for the same reason. If any of them are what you say - it’s because of musical choices, not the content.
Oct 23, 2020 Yeah, you can't really compare the two. VERY, VERY different songs. You can blast White America in your car and it's amazing. Darkness is a great song, but maybe just to listen to it by yourself... while you're working or something.
Oct 23, 2020 Very creative. Dope concept. Is it among his Top 20? No. Is it great that an artist his age, can still come up with ways to surprise his fanbase with that kind of content and story-telling songs? Yes.
Oct 23, 2020 Exactly. White America was more personal with political angles that related to his success & Darkness is only personal due to the parallels he draws for the wordplay writing technique. Plus they both sound completely different & there’s 18 years in between them. Incomparable in almost every aspect.
Oct 23, 2020 It's all about the vibes. The energy. The beats. Certain songs will always get bumped because of those reasons. While other songs won't, even if they are good/great. Stan is a masterpiece. But I don't play it often. And I don't think I've ever blasted it while driving.
Oct 23, 2020 I didnt like darkness at all, music video was worth watching once and then i erased the song amongst others from my library
Oct 23, 2020 I'll never understand why people erase songs. Specially from an artist you rate. Someone you like enough to have signed up and be posting on an internet forum.
Oct 23, 2020 ive been an eminem fan since sslp dropped, but i hated my name is with a passion and dont think i have one full album in my entire library cuz i dont fuxk with skipping tracks. I throw the whole s--- on random and i want to want to hear whatever song plays whenever it does. Got me f----- up if you think ima be vibin to some devin the dude one track and then fuxkin im the real slim shady is next batter up
Oct 23, 2020 Well alright. I absolutely detest songs like My 1st Single, Big Weenie, Rainman, a--- Like That, Puke, Just Lose It, Offended, Heat and Normal but I would never erase them. I just untick those in AIMP3 (which is the Media Player I use) and those songs simply won't get played.
Oct 23, 2020 I just don't like goofy Eminem. My Name Is, The Real Slim Shady, Without Me, Just Lose It, We Made You.... were OK when I was growing up. But now, I just don't f---s with those type of songs anymore. Although I reckon they served to a purpose and were absolute HITS (except for Just Lose It and We Made You).
Oct 23, 2020 Marshall Bruce Mathers III under exclusive rights to Interscope, etc. He is done with his contract.
