Jan 26, 2021 Kids See Ghosts would like to haunt you in your dreams. Edit: Now that I think about it, 2018 had some brilliant albums. Not just in hip hop but rather, spanning all genres.
Jan 26, 2021 By the way, in the Higher vid, about "Em fighting his demons"... Is These Demons the next single?
Jan 26, 2021 I get ya, Drake has a lot of influence but I think Lil Wayne and Eminem are bigger than he is even nowadays. I’m not talking about the « who do gangstas listen to in their cars » cause hip-hop don’t belong to gangstas or to anyone. I’m talking about what they achieved in terms of popularity. Wayne has so many decent albums and features and Em has such a status that I don’t see how Drake can be considered the biggest in the game, but chill it’s just an opinion among others
Jan 26, 2021 Dunno. Maybe his next album will address his introspective side, inner demons of a 50 years old immortal rapper ...
Jan 26, 2021 Wayne's quality fell drastically after C3, making Drake take his spot. Em not running anything unfortunately, dude drops, his fans stream it, and next week no one remembers he dropped. Just look at Side A and B. It's not about opinions, it's about success, and Drake is obviously the most succesful, it's been like that since he started.
Jan 26, 2021 It's more just the spacey sounds, it's very different for Eminem. I'm very aware it's a bare bones structure I'm not r-----ed. People take everything too literal.
Jan 26, 2021 People pretend, fam what? You think there's a conspiracy behind people's favourite Game album? Lmao Doctor's Advocate is a great album, but it's a rehash of a proven formula, taking everything he learned from creating the first, hence my original point, that without 50 & Dre, he'd be nothing.
Jan 26, 2021 "Running rap" Drake was one of my favourite artists in the last decade but why are we acting like he also didn't fall off hard?
Jan 26, 2021 Cause even if Scorpion was weak, he's still running rap. Can't even think of someone else running it.
Jan 26, 2021 People always call The Documentary a classic, like Doctor's Advocate wasn't hard from start to finish. He also improved his raps compared to his debut. Both are classics imo, he just didn't have Dre, Em, 50 or Nate. Dude is dope, but people always say 50 wrote The Documentary. He dropped like 8 albums and multiple mixtapes after 50 helped him. He's more than just 50's toy soldier, something the others couldn't be.
Jan 26, 2021 Kendrick too boring to run rap. How long has he been hiding since his last? And Drake's feats have a way bigger impact in Hip Hop, no one goes to Kendrick so their label won't drop them, they go to Drake and get a hit. I prefer Drake by a mile, never enjoyed TPAB or d---. Whatever he makes gets called amazing, even that project he didn't finish. Why did d--- even win a Pulitzer?
Jan 26, 2021 You’re wasting your time lol I tried explaining this same exact subject to him via ktt... lmao. it’s a lost cause
