But it's just easier to refer to it as the gangster phase when refering to Eminem during that time period. Because a lot of real gangsters did dress like that. Jan 7, 2021 After recovery eminem dropped his crew and went full time popstar. Dre, 50, d12, obie, gunit all gone etc. Only royce by his side. And slaughterhouse and yela for a bit, but let's be real only weirdos like that s--- and he didnt really represent for them like shady 1.0 Hes only just recovering from that s--- and hes basically disrespected left and right. Kinda serves him right in away. He did alot for the culture, shady aftermath was running things for a while, but he cant use that as evidence to show his impact anymore as he basically threw it all away chasing bubble gum pop hits and isolating himself.

Slaughterhouse have some of the most lyrical rappers and Yelawolf is probably the most talented and versatile artist that's ever come out of Shady Records.
