Jan 5, 2021 Right now Side A is definitely superior to Side B for me. both good but Side B is absolutely stuffed with puns, but badly written puns where he just says 'like x, like y', which was very Revival-esque. Just lazy. Side A writing was much higher quality as a whole. And it feels like a much more complete album, and I enjoy the songs more. But, both sides are great. Worthy additions to his catalogue. Just wish Side B as a stand-alone sequel.
Jan 5, 2021 Side A is the movie with awesome scenes but a lot of serious dialogue in between. Side B is the movie that’s great start to finish with a perfect blend of entertainment but not as serious.

Jan 5, 2021 Majority of Tha Blue Carpet Treatment was good too I haven't heard every snoop project that came out, but I think his biggest problem, still to this day is keeping his albums short. Doggystyle only had like 13 tracks and is a classic. But Snoop said he never ever heard it from front to back, so it's no wonder that he doesn't know how to scructure a good album. I mean most of the stuff he put out had like 20 tracks on it and some of them were filler tracks. His last album was exactly like that too. Anyway...stans are trippin'. I had to cringe when I saw a couple of people on twitter claiming that Snoop never "had any hits after 93". I mean.....Drop it like it's hot, Young, wild and free, Vato, Beatiful was big back then I think, Lay Low, Sweat....
