Jan 4, 2021 MGK was going at him on that "Rap Devil" man...that's why people liked it. It also sounded more brutal than "Killshot", even though "Killshot" had better lines, and that intro part with the "Stan, stan stan!" was perfect.

And I never said I was into killshot either. I actually think Em has never had straight diss tracks one on one that are incredible. I think his not alike verse was better. But hes never had a huge back and forth that I've enjoyed. I like his digs at ppl on regular songs but diss song wise nothing on the level of jay and nas in terms of caliber of rappers battling it out. MGK has quite a few good songs on his second album and hotel diablo also wasnt bad. But in terms of a diss track he coulda done better.

It's obvious he has a problem with Em. Just be a man and address it like one already, or just make a reverse and apologize for what you said, and say that your intention was not to disrespect Em's legacy or anything but the other clip that came out after this s--- cannot be really reversed like that, that clip about him talking s--- about Stan and Em by saying, I doN't listen to Em, I'm gangsta, I don't listen to Stan that fanboy s--- or something like that. That whole interview was an huge disrespect to Em and it was from like 2005-06 when Round Here came out as a single. That's some f----- up s---.
Jan 4, 2021 That interview was good. Em sounds more like himself (meaning, how we originally came to know him...) than he has in years. And maybe since returning - I thought Kamikaze interview was the most, but this was even more. Was interesting hearing the thoughts on the songs, also he made some good points like 'there's only so many topics you can discuss', I think he's in a good space right now; also love the fact (and still can't believe) he responded to Snoop, and clarified it here so openly. Feels refreshing vs. when he first came back, being falsely diplomatic about everything and every one, he felt like a politician. The only comment I found odd was when he said he thinks he can be at his best when not focusing on producing at all... when his worst material is with other producers; his best is arguably from his own production and the songs almost always hit when he produces himself, and the songs are much richer musically. Maybe he means in terms of just rhyming and complexity or whatever, but musically and songs-wise - I would say definitely not. Although these past three albums have been the best testament to Em over other people's beats, he seems to have found his footing with bass-heavy, trap-esque and more hip-hop beats again.
Jan 4, 2021 Been saying that about topics on songs for years. Nobody really talks about anything for the first time nowadays. It is impossible. Specially, when you talk about an artist like Em who has been around for 2 decades, there are only so many topics you can talk about on songs without being repetative anyway. Don't see how can a normal funtioning brained person seriously critisize the guy over using the similar, same contents on songs.

Jan 4, 2021 Yeah it’s like I said cute little song but once you start to break it down it’s really just mgk whining about beards and how s----s not fair and why can’t he be like em and why don’t em appreciate being em and why does he have to make a diss track about his idol and wahhh wah wah wah. Em put him in his place for sure - twice starting with not afraid and ending with the k--- shot which was ironically the k--- shot. He still takes shots today but mgk don’t want to part of it anymore. The guy even admitted public ally that the beef was bad for him.
