Jan 1, 2021 When he addressed the snoop s--- it was almost like he was apologizing for it. He should of just been like "yeah Idgaf if I'm in his top ten or not but he went too far with that s---"
Jan 1, 2021 I mean he dealing with a gangster chuney - he just got done throwin on his brand new doggy underwear and s---.
Jan 1, 2021 I’m kinda the same way in thinking. I appreciate the work he has put out since he got his life back in order (since he overdosed), but his professional career to me really goes from: The moment he signed with Aftermath, to the moment he came back with Recovery. “The angry blonde who overcame his biggest obstacles” is how I’d summarize Eminem, so what obstacles does he have now? The critics talking s---? Lol Like I said, I’m grateful for him today, and grateful for the music he has given us, but the Relapse-Recovery era, where Eminem was BACK, was a spectacle. Truly something to behold. The man survived a drug addiction, became sober, and had stopped bleaching his hair (for a while). But I think now people are considering the younger artists, and I think Eminem understands that too, which would explain why his albums seem to be more about random topics nowadays.
Jan 1, 2021 I don't think Snoop was referring to the interview. I think he was referring to the lines on Zeus?. Also I don't think Em was apologized. He was explaining why he said what he said on the song and which part bothered him.
Jan 1, 2021 He spent way too much time explaining man - shouldn't need to explain that s--- it was cut and dry.
Jan 1, 2021 He also explained (and even in more detail) the beef with MGK in the Interview with Sway, man.
Jan 1, 2021 Can anyone explain to me what traditional albums sales mean? Is that cd, and buying the album through DCPs? Or is that streams? Like in this is the 117 album sales or streams?
Jan 1, 2021 I didn't think Eminem's response was "soft" at all. How else a 48 year old man supposed to respond? "MAN f--- SNOOP, HOE a--- b---- a--- MFer!!!" Nah dude, he's a grown man, was surprised one of his (possible) idols suddenly turned on him, and said some disrespectful s---. He wanted to explain his positioning and get his feelings off his chest. That's just Eminem, he's always going on and on.
Jan 1, 2021 Well the interviewer asked him why he said that about Snoop. What did you expect him to say?
Jan 1, 2021 Yeah but he lit up mgk tho - so that's different. I'm just saying I read it the same way as snoop did. Snoop talked mad s--- - em gives him a love tap back and then is trying to defend his behavior in the interview. I'm just sayin he came off a little soft, I know he is tryin to walk a fine line with everything but just think he could handle it better and I think people are smelling some weakness.
Jan 1, 2021 That was Em trying hard to respect one of the OGs, like he always does. But it ends here I guess. I believe it is all up to Dre now. If Dre talks to these two and tells them two squash it (at least publicly) then there'll be no back and forth diss songs. If Dre stays out, or gives them the green light then it might get really interesting.
Jan 1, 2021 It's like I said I think he should of just laughed a little and been like "idgaf if I'm in his top ten or whatever but he took it too far - I mean we were just chilling together and then I see that s---" That's all he needed to say..
Jan 1, 2021 Because he thought Snoop would come to his senses and understand that they are "friends" in the same camp. And also because he respects Snoop. He wasn't trying the act hard to intimidate Snoop. He was trying to be nice and explain his point of view. The beef with MGK was totally different. Trust me though, if Snoop continues Em won't stay friendly
