You get motivated, you get in rage-mode, you get playful, you get inspired, you get happy, you get sad but you also laugh a lot.

Dec 23, 2020 On the topic of "Darkness" and Fantano's rating... I have to say, it's a deep song, the topic was a good exercise for Eminem to tackle, but I didn't like the way he executed it. The song lacks replay value for me, as I bet it did for Fantano. I wish he did it similarly to "Never Love Again", where's he just rapping normally without the super sorrowful beat, and reveals through clever lyrics what the song is ACTUALLY about, like how he did in the actual song, but I bet a less depressing, and less slow beat would have helped. The Simon & Garfunkel sample didn't do it any favors also, imo.

No doubt (Though, his 2020 output was...... a bit shakey but, anyway) But, in terms of what kind of song are they talking about? A regular song or a battle rap song? Drake will have slick lines here and there I’ll admit that. But, it’s Em. Drake is number 1. Em comes alive when the pressure is on. He’s not about to “Killshot” Drake. It’s going to be “Nail in the coffin” level Though, he’s right it is a generational thing. Drake fans will give praise to 2 lines and completely Miss Em’s 20 because they can comprehend them
Dec 23, 2020 I saw this a few years ago. I'd have to watch it again. But it always stuck in my mind. Crazy how someone from Jamaica (Demarco, a big Dancehall artist) puts Eminem above any other artist, while Akon -someone who's actually f---ing worked with Em- put Drake above Em. Knowing how capable lyrically Eminem is. I have 0 doubts in my mind that Em could rap circles around Drake and completely wash him.
Dec 23, 2020 Couple things. I dont think this cracks the top 3. And I don't think this 3 album run is better than the first 3. But Eminem has made 3 albums in a row that I've enjoyed, and this one is my favorite of the 3. Im happy for him and he sounds like hes having fun making music again.
