Dec 22, 2020 At em’s best he’s one of the cleverest writers in rap. In recent years he’s been doing a lot more corny puns/punchlines—which is fine, especially because they seem like a wink at the camera rather than being “HARD BARS” specifically. There’s nothing wrong with liking the wordplay, but I don’t think we need to pretend he’s the only rapper in the world who does that. Like I said, at his best he’s extremely clever, but I don’t think he’s firing on all cylinders 100% of the time (nor do I expect him to be this late in a career—he put out what I think is his best album since Relapse so he’s doing exactly what an almost 50 year old em should be doing).

Dec 22, 2020 I'm gonna say something everybody on this forum will not like (but idgas so lessgo). When Eminem appeared on the SNL cameo, I thought the Stu parodic was truly a clue for the upcoming rumored album. That Em was teasing Stu, a completly new character derived from Stan who was planned to appear on new song(s). An unlucky guy ("sorry Stu, you f----- up"). Yeah I know, I must've been high at the time lol Of course after the release of the -already classic to me- M2BMB, it was absolutely untrue and I love that new disc. But I can't retire this cameo from my mind, I would really love for the next project that he creates another character, even for just a song. Stu could've been a great idea. Maybe that's a thing I miss on the B Side
