Dec 21, 2020 All he needs to do to bump it up a few notches is tone down the wordplay, too often there's two or three bars used to set up a punchline. That's the main difference between this and his best; he wasn't prioritising punchlines. He's still too focused on punchlines and doesn't realise some lines can be just as impactful without a double entendre.

Dec 21, 2020 I think his idea was to make it sound similar to Relapse 2 without the accents but with the murder theme and didn't call it Relapse 2 because of the name. Never Love Again is pure Relapse 2 and he mentions killing and pills through the whole album I love it. We all know he has some unreleased Relapse 2 tracks like Insult to injury and s--- but I'm happy with what he gave us.
