Dec 20, 2020 I’ve created this list for whoever is trying to help the US charts as I’ve seen people posting on Twitter/Reddit inaccurate info: - You can use a VPN to help, even if you’re not in the US; - You have to create the new account while being logged on the VPN (e.g. Spotify/Apple Music); - Don’t keep your device on mute, the view won’t be taken into consideration. - Use multiple devices with multiple accounts to stream; - You need to listen to at least 30 seconds per song for it to be taken into consideration (excepted ar the skits < 30 seconds); - Buy from iTunes or other digital services while on VPN; - Don’t use gift cards, they don’t count to charts; - Songs/albums on repeated are counted. AFAIK: 1,250 premium audio streams, 3,750 ad-supported streams, or 3,750 video streams are equal to one album unit. Regarding individual songs, 150 streams should be equivalent to one song sold.
