Dec 19, 2020 Man I get it - makes sense. Thing is there's plenty of bangers on there too like the cold wind blows, no love with lil wayne, 25 to life, so bad. Me personally I also like all the introspection and the idea of recovery/awakening. I think not afraid was a great inspiring song up there with the likes of something like mom's spaghetti but a more low key version. I appreciate the album as art and I appreciate music as art. If it's good then it's good - I don't need it to fit into a box. I don't need anything to fit into a box actually - which is why I hate 2020 so much because it gave steroids to the whole "put people into boxes" thing. Wish I could just be fake like most people to fit in with one of these tribal groups you all got going on now - but I can't do that to myself even tho I try. Glad we got new music my dudes hope you enjoy it.
