    I didn't think Eminem's response was "soft" at all. How else a 48 year old man supposed to respond?

    Nah dude, he's a grown man, was surprised one of his (possible) idols suddenly turned on him, and said some disrespectful s---. He wanted to explain his positioning and get his feelings off his chest. That's just Eminem, he's always going on and on.

    It wasn't his stepfather, it's a fictional story. And the hook is the way it is because that's how the original song where the sample is from sounds. I can understand what went in Marshall's brain when he heard it in a language he couldn't understand. If you try to make sense of it, it really associates to "I hate my stepdad"



    But anyways, it's a goofy song, not a story about his upbringing.

    Just finished watching, wow Ems actually not talking like a d--- robot in this one. He was definitely more comfortable in his own environment with this one.
