Are we to assume this pic of Em is from today or this week? How fast can they make a music video? I really would be so happy if he dropped a video and album tomorrow because I don’t have to work.

I thought Boogie was dropping tonight but have checked his socials and there hasn't been any announcement for him dropping. Think it'll probably be next week. 24th seems the most likely for Em dropping unless he drops the whole thing / a single tonight....

EDIT: If he drops tonight it would be really interesting as Taylor Swift is dropping tonight now too.

I wasn't around for MTBMB but I read from people here he was supposedly locked in on December 20 but it got pushed back 4 weeks last second.

I think you are asking the wrong question. you should ask what's corny about doing a whole song about covid not what's corny about real life.

What's a preferred word you would use in this situation then since you seem hung up on corny?

And to answer your question - what's uninteresting about it, is that fact that everyone is getting bombarded by memes, day by day references and discussions with people about how it sucks. It's in your face constantly but everyone has to just continue with their lives at some point and it's a little late at this point don't you think? If you think it's a fun idea then by all means I would love to be surprised with a good song, I don't sit and anticipate music that I will hate but honestly I think Em lost his tongue in cheek wit that would make me think it's executed properly. Darkness isn't bad but it's pretty boring after a few listens. Whatever, it's not gonna happen nothing worth getting worked up for.

I do believe it might drop Dec. still having known some these people's track record since rapbasement/d12world

I don't think it is. He hasn't posted anything. He's a small artist and would push it as far as he could if he was dropping. He certainly won't surprise. He only just started the rollout.
