Also I've bitched about it before but I can't believe he didn't have the wherewithal to do a 3rd verse on Lock It Up. That's one of the best beats and hooks he's ever rapped on.

And I know that Booger guy was supposed to be on it but it needed a 3rd verse from Eminem. Not him.

i was surprised he didnt do a 3rd one either. I think that was him trying to do a more current song structure tho. Was surprised to see him do songs with 12's lately since he threw the rule book out around MMLP2 as far as song structure on counting bars.

The general public largely does not care. Pop music still sells, dance music still sells. Look at rock music. Same thing there, hardly any new rock bands, hardly any actual bands at all. That's all in the past too, you still have a few of the big bands around but none of the new ones are getting any big attention. It's just how music is. And the irony isn't lost on me, most people on this forum wont even buy the music, same with Reddit, these are people that claim to be such big fans and they'll stream it on Youtube for free and Spotify for free. They don't have any intention of actually spending any money and supporting Eminem and actually making a difference. At this stage of the game, people should just be grateful we are getting new music at all. The days were singles were big and music videos were big and there was TV interviews and paparazzi everywhere......that's all been done away for at least 10 years. Same reason why Dre's Compton flopped. The people that cared about Detox moved on. They grew up. The stories about smoking blunts and riding fancy cars and buying jewellery.....it's fantasy. They grew up and got jobs and got families of their own. The public don't care about it anymore. Same thing with Eminem and his family troubles, it was new 20 years ago, it was a niche but people moved on and now he has to invent stories for songs. It'll never be what it was.

Yup. It’s been the best for me for awhile, I just wish the cut wasn’t mixed so messy, it’s the only outlier.
