Mar 24, 2016 He gets the respect that he deserves. He's the most adored rapper of all time. The treatment he got in South America, he could get in any other continent.
Mar 24, 2016 He continues to tarnish his legacy as he puts out more material. Whites will continue to overrate him though
Mar 25, 2016 s--- always happens whenever an artist/group breaks away from the sound they got big off people are always looking for new styles/sounds and complain when someone does the same s--- over and over, but when it's their fav they throw a s--- fit. people don't know what they want
Mar 25, 2016 Regardless what you think off him now no one can take them first 3 Albums away from him he deserves so credit for that But I think now he does get too much respect because he's "Eminem"
Mar 25, 2016 tbh he gets the respect he deserves but he also gets the disrespect he deserves if that makes sense
Mar 25, 2016 n----s should tone down the respect for him and call him out, these p---- rappers got way too much respect for him.
Mar 26, 2016 Early Eminem reminds me of Young Thug, crazy rapping skill but a lot of sus/edgy (respectively) lines that you either love or hate. He has tarnished his legacy a bit amongst hip hop heads but among casual listeners and even among more intensive listeners who look past his recent work he's considered one of the greatest.
Mar 26, 2016 I think he has earned it all. He deserves it because it's true that Eminem was bigger than anyone else has ever been in Hip Hop. He has also influenced artists and his style is not easy to replicate. He was unique in some of his aspects that gave him his own unique sound and probably he forgets that people want that uniqueness and excitement back in him.
Mar 29, 2016 Idk man. I think so. People diss him for a lot of reasons, a big one being that Hip Hop and music in general is changing. Ems style isn't as present if you look at the genre now, aside from a few exceptions. Also his albums since TES have gotten mixed to positive and some times down right negative reviews. That's a noticeable drop from universal acclaim. And tbh, he can get pretty corny now adays. Still has the talent. Just needs to figure out how to channel it. But he gets s--- for all that stuff. And tbh I get it. Even though I love his music and respect the h--- outta the dude.
Mar 30, 2016 Tech said ems the best rapper alive, if n9nes saying that then yes he's getting the respect and props he deserves.
Mar 30, 2016 Was in Detroit last year at a fancy hotel and they had a picture of Eminem on the wall. lol . #feelthebern #vapelifesmatter
Mar 31, 2016 Lol. He's the most popular rapper of all time. Of course he gets respect. More respect than any other rapper in history lol dumb question
Mar 31, 2016 this is the dumbest post i have ever read. nothing about young thug is edgy lmfao. dude smokes weed and auto tunes his basic a--- raps and relies on beats for the music to be good. you talk about casual but the only people bumping young thug are the most casual rap fans or people born after the year 2000
Mar 31, 2016 Eminem only has one truly exceptional album and that is "The Marshall Mathers LP", it was a pivotal point in time where he managed to get his persona exactly right and cross together the mainstream with the underground; the beats were oddly grimy and unpolished and Eminem was more technical and on-point with his rhymes during that era. Only weak song for me is "The Real Slim Shady". It sounds like someone took a harpicord and made it sound like s---; it had the worst music video and the most gagful lyrics. The other albums are great, the only reprehensible one would be "Encore" due to it's lack of cohesion and how much it sucks.
