How do you know Paul is the cause for this. At the end of the day Em shouldn't be listening to anyone when making music based on his prior success and if he does that's his own fault and no one else's

The activision deal he made is the reason we got Won't Back Down and Survival on Recovery and MMLP2. They're the worst songs on both albums

I still don't think he would of been happy wih Em sending a free verse since paul can't make any profit off of it, unless you consider tech being on Em's album as profitable idk

Because Marshall leaves it all to him for marketing the album, Paul has the greatest influence. And interscope will be obviously fine with whatever Rosenberg picks out

There have been several interviews around the time MMLP2 dropped where he went on record to talk about the abundance of material recorded and how Paul helped pick the songs for the final cut out

He's obviously going to influence the album to be as commercial as possible given his track record

Em relies on him too much and that taints his music
