    The main issue is his voice. I don't know if he just permanently damaged it, but holy f--- is it awful. I'll take his shouting over sounding like he has a g.d. frog in his throat

    Personally, never minded the outdated references as long as they are pretty known for the average listener, and he doesn't repeat them often

    Agreed .. probably when he bumps SSLP nowadays he thinks it's whack and too simple?

    that's the issue of him staying 24/7 in the studio, it's also his personality changed...

    Yeah this is soo true. Using drugs probably made him write easily without actually stuck in the other 100 words to rhyme his s---.

    I think a reason for outdated lyrics could be the fact that he probably uses lyrics he wrote years ago but never ended up using

    And regarding his complex rhyming it's probably a lot to do with his addictive personality, & when he writes a simple (but effective) lyric, his mind is definitely just full with so many other words he could rhyme with so feels the need to include them
