If anything there were less reasons for greatest hits album back in the days, it couldn't helped the stream boosts of the older hits back then bc there was no streaming. So that's a plus. And it actually didn't lose the physical album factor entirely. Many people have Eminem album collections, couple million people will buy it all over the world, ok, let's just take the only country that matters at hand, it'll do few hundred k's in USA... It's just makes sense.

And no, Em doesn't rap for money, but he gotta earn by doing it, nothing wrong with that. Plus, greatest hits album is technically not even a rapping by him, it's just a thing they do for collectors etc. I doubt any artist's greatest hits album causes so much hate and controversy. It's non sense. You don't think it worths it, don't buy it. You don't have to. You can still listen to any of those songs without paying more than you pay monthly for your music service.

That s-----y Lighters song is gonna be on this isn't it?

People wondering why this is even coming out... Casuals and collectors will be interested, it'll bump the numbers up on a bunch of old projects, and only requires a couple of new tracks to complete. Seems like an easy win to me. Doesn't have to do well at all to turn a profit considering it's mostly re-use, even if it is a fraction of Curtain Call 1's success (which is like his third most successful album).

Has he really ever performed Like Home live though? I can't find aby videos on YT. Plus, the song has barely any views.
If any non-single songs were huge, It was Till I collapse and Beautiful Pain. d---, just check out how big BP is (the video with the most views isn't even on Em's channel, though). Totally missed opportunity. I know a lot of people who bumped only that one song from MMLP2.

Or, in one of those freakishly rare cases of historic recurrence and irony, CC2 drops in Dec, Eminem goes on hiatus, relapses into drug addiction thanks to Snoop's influence and overdoses again in 2024, then releases a sequel to Relapse two years later. Only now his mind is truly gone due to drug abuse and we get the collected recordings of a man gone literally psychotic, miraculously resulting in the most unlikely classic the genre has ever seen, but only recognized as such after dying of a heart attack a few years later, before living out the rest of his days getting hit with sticks, bricks, rocks, s---, and getting kicked, spit on, treated like a hoe and b-----slapped by critics and fans alike.
