Idk his flow is honestly usually far too complex for me to pinpoint what hes doing haha. I agree tho.. A new sound would be good. But the thing is its almost impossible for a new sound to equate to that 02 perfection he was putting out. So it'll just get hated on too

See, I disagree that it's impossible to match. No disrespect intended, but I feel like that's your inner Stan talking. I think if he drops his current flow, quits going the pop route for sales, and then gets people who know how to compliment his sound (which like I said would be someone like FlyLo), then the only people who would hate are people who already hate just to hate.

i'm pretty sure i appreciate him the appropriate amount. there are people who dl every album and genuinely don't know s--- about rap who will never give him the props he ever deserves and then there are also people who will never see or speak to marshall once yet write entire books, editorials and so forth about him even to this day

i'm comfortably between those two scenarios of someone respectively mistakenly under- and overrating him i think
