Sep 20, 2021 Everyone would be excited but the fact that industry moves faster, doesn't mean that the huge stars do too. Kendrick hasn't released an actual album since d---. which was 4 years ago, Drake was away for 3 years untill he released this wack CLB album. Not just rappers, Rihanna hasn't been around for years. I don't think good artists usually deliver that frequently. When they do, they are either on fire for certain amount of time, like Em was for 3 years (kamikaze, MTBMBs) or they are so new into the game that again, they are on fire. All in all, I'm sure Em has been in the studio as he always is and probably creating music as we talk but doubt he has much of an album material in his hands, maybe another small album like Kamikaze is a possibility but I still would expect him to drop in 2022. Actually, I doubt the fact that 2cHainz being scrapped had anything to do with the backlash he got with that tracklist. The only real reason was people were mad at the pop features and immediately threw a fit. h---, they even created an entire different tracklist with same concept image which was full of rapper features. There is no way he can drop a music that would be considered good under the name of MMLP 3, we all know how crazy people are when it comes to Em. Even if he dropped the same MMLP album today, people would s--- on it and tell that it's nowhere near being a sequel to original MMLP if
Sep 20, 2021 Not really true Drake has been dropping little projects during 2020, and Rihanna retired, like fully. Everything Kendrick drops is considered a classic also, even though I completely disagree. So I can see why he takes his time. And wasn't 2 Chainz the only rap feat supposed to be on Revival. He even got mad about it. They even did a photoshoot to promote the fact that they were working together lol the hype was real.
