Let me reformulate :
In 2002, Eminem was perfectly balanced because he had, at the same time :
-A incredible flow that fits every beat he raps on
-An innovative style (the way he uses his voice in multiple ways)
-He passed a lot of emotions through his music
-He knew how to tell a story
-He had great rhymes schemes
-Dope a--- productions
But i admit i should have say "in the world" instead of "of all time"
Plus i don't think Eminem is the greatest oat because he only made 3 good albums, which place him automatically under Lil Wayne, Nas, Ghostface Killah, Outkast, Kanye and plenty of other rappers (same reason why Snoop Dogg, as game-changing as Doggystyle was, will never deserve to be in the "best of all time" list)

Please don't go with "this is just a bunch of opinions" route, otherwise this entire forum is a waste of time and its all "just a bunch of opinions" so theres no point debating anything cuz its "just a bunch of opinions"

You can point to how lyrically impressive he is all you want, everyone knows that Em is one of the finest technical lyricists ever, just Like I can point to how dated and inconsistent MMLP is, how it's littered with pop culture references that don't mean anything to me now (like most of eminem's work) it's not anything that I would ever go back and listen to.

Doggystyle on the otherhand is consistent all the way through, a timeless 10/10 classic with no forced posturing (what Eminem did his entire career)

Being lyrically better doesnt automatically make the album better

Problem with how lots of Eminem's fans talk about his music is that they reduce it to math. They break it into syllable or word or line components and try to convince you via that route of how great he is. That's not what music's about.

See if you think I'm wrong, you're free to think I'm wrong--I assume most people here do. But that's not what "bias" is. I have no personal or professional grudge against Eminem, I just think his catalog itself isn't that good. It has nothing to do with the stanning on this site; that might make me exaggerate my feelings for comedic effect, but they're legitimately my feelings about his work.
