i think Wayne has the better desc. but Eminem influence on the main culture is much bigger, you can argue wayne influenced hip hop more, but eminem global influence was way too much

Wayne is indisputably a top 10-15 rapper of all time. I wouldn't even put Eminem in a top 75.

i'm just talking about the quality of their music. yes, we know marshall has helped further rap and he's the only reason some people listen to rap now.

at the end of the day, it comes down to the music, and wayne has far surpassed eminem in the aspect. wayne changed the game as well as far as features and mixtapes.

Wow the Eminem hate here is real. Although his latest stuff has been trash, he had over half a decade of dominance. You can't reasonably say he's not top 10 when he literally ran the rap game for 6+ years.

Like, Jay Z could drop 10 more MCHGs and still be considered GOAT

But eminem only ran the game in the eyes of a casual viewer. Kanye dropped three classics in the same time span, coke rap blew up , Jeezy and Gucci had arguably one of the best rap beefs, the current Atlanta scene was just starting to blow, Wayne was already killing it and just entering his prime, etc. Like, Eminem may have gotten the most exposure in terms of radio play and casual viewers, but there were much more huge impactful moments happening at the time, all of which merit more respect than simply being rly popular.
