Mental health is something I'm passionate about as I'm sure you know, but just because that played a part doesn't mean race wasn't involved. All of this stuff is connected. Sure, it's possible, but it's much more likely that race played a part in it, because the concept of race is inextricably tied to our society. Asian fetishization is also pretty common among men in the USA. And attacks on Asian people have been ramping up here the past year. It's jumping through hoops to remove the racial context. It may not have been the only factor, but it's still an important factor. Yeah mos def, that's what I meant—is he someone acting on those impulses or is he obsessive about sex and not acting on it? And I don't think sex work is immoral in any capacity, I think it should be legal and regulated for safety to help prevent violence, STDs, etc. It's not something I'm interested in personally but it's not my business what two consenting adults wanna do on their own time.
Mar 17, 2021 The Asian population in Atlanta is very low, only about 5% (and that stat also lumps in Pacific Islander/Polynesian population as Asian)...Acworth GA is even lower at around 2%. There's a lot of places he could have gone and people he could have killed but he targeted the most underrepresented minority population at three different places in two different cities.

If the object of coercion is money, is it really consent? Cyclical systemic poverty forces a lot of young women into prostitution, even by their own family members to pay off never-ending debt. It doesn't seem like he was targeting Asians, just targeting certain profession. Nah, I'm saying our society as a whole is immoral and prostitution is just a symptom of it imho.
