I knew who he was, I just never really started to respect him until a few months ago when I heard some more of his work. You have no idea what the concept of influence is, and your knowledge on hip-hop isn't determined by how much of your hard drive space is taken up by iTunes. I never said I was an enlightened hip-hop fan for thinking that Drake is this generation's Hov, but you're certainly not unique or special for hating Drake.
