Jan 7, 2016 No one was calling Wayne the number one rapper for dropping a average mixtape during a summer where nothing really big or exciting happened Drake isn't near perfect, he is a perfect bland sheet of paper that is functions as a vessel for strategic marketing teams to project (meaningless) teenage fantasies and street-trends on top of Drake was never really an alpha male to begin with.. just one who faked it long enough for his fans to believe it Tuesday was a hit formula regardless of Drake's input.. these typa songs can't last in your memory for more than months.. they fade away Drake never gnawed away at rising artists', he bit them while they were still young enough to be impressed by his charm and meaningless support so they left him free of any charges or copyright claims.. and him being popular and having a powerful lobby at his disposal musta helped in keeping people backed the f--- up There is NOTHING that suggests Drake has the brain of an artist capable of making original sounding music. He relies solely on the virtues of people who make beats that shine regardless of his input and occassionally brings his authentic self on record. Those are the times he doesn't curse on a beat. The other times it's just him grabbing a formula someone else made up and playing it out until it's uncool.. right before the trend dies, he'll find a new image to gain enough momentum and likes on IG.
