Mar 9, 2024 R.I.P to the goat, coming from someone who's only seen bits of the shows and some movies but never actually watched Dragon Ball in full I can still say with authority how influential this man was. I have entire shows events in my head through osmosis on top of knowing his stories from them being told in different mediums, between Dragon Quest, Dragon Ball, Chrono Trigger etc. His contribution and influence to so many forms of art across the globe is only comparable to what someone like Stan Lee is for western comic culture. Absolute legend.

Sep 6, 2024 at 5:11 AM Not sure bro, but considering how the English dub for the last Dragon Ball movie did not take long, in fact if I'm not mistaken it was released worldwide just about the same time the Japanese dub was, could come out not long after the series premiers. Depends also on how quick the English dub team receive the episodes to be dubbed. To be fair though, ever since Dragon Ball Super started, I got used to the Japanese dub as I prefer it over the English one now. I have to go back and watch DB & DBZ in Japanese.
