You never know until the audience lets you know. No matter what you do in the studio, no matter how good you think it is, you don’t know until the audience tells you.

I started recording in 1985, and maybe 20 or 30 per cent of the music I’ve recorded has come out. My music isn’t for everybody. I just love recording for my friends and family. And really, it’s just for me. Some of this to hold, some of this to be sold. That’s what I do.

I like discovering new talent. I’m pushing 40 years of my career right now, and there are just a few artists that I’ve worked with that were established. Those being 2Pac, Mary J. Blige, and Busta Rhymes. Those are the only artists that I worked with in my entire career that were already established. I like working with new, up-and-coming talent.

it would be amazing…sounds like hours and hours of good music regardless of what he says…with artists that we all enjoy listening too…

Im assuming there’s at least 50-100 Eminem tracks, throughout the years collecting dust…and any artists he’s worked with for years…def same goes with 50 cent and Snoop

You're prob not wrong. And I'd imagine quite a lot of them would be the finished article.

I wonder who will control his music when he's gone? Will we get posthumous stuff?

that’s a great point…I’m assuming his family? If so they will definitely release it for more $ they won’t have sentimental value towards those songs

Dre making music for himself and family sounds kinda sweet until I remember how much of other people's music he's vaulted as well.

"I got this song featuring Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick, 50 Cent & The Game where they audibly kiss and make up, with an unheard hook from Nate Dogg, on a beat worked on by half a dozen producers and incorporates the sound of a PKE Meter reading of 2Pac's ghost. I gave it to my niece for her housework playlist."
