It does sound like it. The 2nd part he went back to screaming (though I don't think lyrics were that bad for modern day marshall).

First part his delivery is so calm and I also love the lyrics.

Dre's verse is the worst on the album imo tho mostly because of his weird voice on it. Other than that I absolutely love compton and every guest (including marshall to an extent) did a great job on it. Even washed ups like Game (before doc2) Xzibit, Ice Cube were dope, along with Anderson / Kendrick who all killed their parts.
