First post is definitely a (seemingly mediocre) DJ Khalil beat, not a Dre beat.

    Second beat sounds nice.

His mixing is great though. I also prefer him actually producing of course but him putting final touches is not a bad thing imo

Idk man, it’s just.... who cares about Dre anymore. His music output is so minuscule that I can’t even hold weight to anything he’s done nowadays. Like, I still listen to the chronic on the regular lol, but other then that I really could care less about Dre in 2020 unless he made some power move with Em or something.

Im more interested in let’s say, Metro Boomin’, Madlib and Alchemist nowadays

Serial killers? Lol great original type. Y’all give me s--- for liking horrorcore but brotha lynch and Tech N9ne might as well be on this.

y’all hate on me for loving Rick Rubin Rock n roll beats and here he is doing that again. Sounds like some country horrorcore.

To me, yah. To each his own tho. I liked Dre mixing his og sound w modern and using both vets (em, snoop, cube) and 'modern' artists like paak for it. All of them came through imo

I liked that Serial Killers EP so I'm in for this. Dre and Xzibit is always a good thing. I like that Dre mostly just "mixes" now, as it is more a case of him properly crediting his producing partners than it is a change of role.
