Aug 29, 2016 blows my mind that i once liked this. he shouldn't have even thought of making this. like why does this exist. literally all he's talking about on this song is technical rap, while throwing in some weak shock value attempts. all over some old school production, with shittons of cringey 90s-ish "wack MC" type lines. yes its obv a revisit to the era but he just comes off as an old out of touch man clinging to it. he's literally a reel hip hop head on here: "cause on the mic i gotta represent the REAL rappers". everything he was going for on this song falls completely flat, the few dope lines don't make up for it. dumpster trash. terrible
Aug 29, 2016 And what's wrong with being 'REAL' rapper? Better than any currnet senseless Future clone. Months ago he showed us his cassettes collection and it literally consists of old school rap. Did you expect him mumbling over trap beat? He is remixing a favorite song of him from 90s and totally killed it. I enjoy the technical awesomeness, and I'm sure a lot of ppl like me do. Musically, it is dated for 2013 standards, but thats the point, its a reminiscing song and he did it in the best possible way.
