Honestly. I dont want Eminem to ever f---ing retire. I want him to be like AC/DC, just making s--- he wants to make and making s--- for his fans who just love his music. The day this man says he is done making music will be sad for me. I hope it just never happens and he make s--- til he is like 60. We all know he will make s--- for himself, so he might as well release it for his true/crazy a--- fans.

you mentioned ACDC, and it got me thinking, even GnR stopped music for YEARS and came out with more albums. I Could see Eminem do this approach, one album in Q3/Q4 2016, and a second Greatest Hits album..... a year later. Then say maybe 4-5 years after just after he hits 50, he releases his Final album. If Dre could still release music, Em will. I just wish Shady was as good as it was in its old days, new albums every 6 months to a year. But then you had Em, Obie, D12, 50, all active. Now its Em, Yela, SH, and if you want to count D12, but D12 has a mixtape, Yela took 3 years to put out an album, SH is taking for f---ing ever to release an album. and Em hasnt released nothing since MMLP2 unless you count Southpaw and ShadyXV. But even with that, Shady isnt nearly as active as it used to be. So i dont think he should retire, but definitely start putting out his labels work and promoting them and getting 2.0 to actual have an impact....

I think artists should make music as long as its quality. it doesnt have to be perfect - just good. em has been inconsistent but hea put out good stuff. if em starts putting out big weenie quality songs he should retire to save the purity of the work

The problem is not wether he thinks he should retire or not, it's who he works for. Interscope will always somehow find a way of convincing him is right to carry on. Which is a shame because the quality will naturally get worse because he's ding it for someone else, not himself.

Personally, I want to see him release a paired album to MMLP2 to continue his trademark pairing of albums. And then his final goodbye album, hopefully a pair to Infinate. But I don't that'll happen.

I don't want him to retire, just want him to get rid of his yes-men. Put him in a room with Dre, Snoop, Kanye, Drake and they'll tell him how it is to his face.

Exactly. Songs like Rap God, Bad Guy, Phenomenal, Kings Never Die and such are all good. Are they as good as the MMLP/TES era? Maybe not. But the man still clearly has bars in him.

People are thinking Marshal fell off, but to me his recent music has only been bad because it's side project he just throws together. When he wants to take his time and perform (Medicine Man) he can still give us fire.

Nah, he shouldn't retire because he's still very capable. All he needs is to focus in, make quite a few songs for one album, and have a little help choosing those songs. The last three albums have a ll had fantastic songs that are drug down by incredibly average or subpar songs. He can still drop a classic I believe

Lol Drake and Kanye couldn't say s--- to him tho. If they had guts to do it they would've already done it. On the other hand, it seems obvious that Snoop Dogg is not an Eminem fan but he is careless about his music. I'M sure Snoopy doesn't even listen new Eminem songs at all. As for Dr. Dre, he's looking like he decides to stay away from the guy musically.
