Mar 1, 2016 I don't necessarily always relate to it but I understand it and respect it. Through his music Kendrick has made it apparent that religion has played a big part in his life and his decision making in regards to taking a righteous path or a sinful path. Like you've already said, he's spoken about it in many of his songs such as Faith, Kush & Corinthians, I'm Dying of Thirst, How Much a Dollar Cost etc. I like the fact that he remains consistent with it and refers to religion and God because he genuinely believes in it rather than just mentioning it for the sake of it.
